Refund Policy

1. Overview

At SBA Tutors, we strive to provide exceptional professional tutoring services. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations of our services.

2. Tutoring Session Cancellation Policy

24+ Hours Notice: Tutoring sessions cancelled with 24 hours or more notice will receive a full refund or credit toward future sessions, at the client's preference.

Less Than 24 Hours Notice: Tutoring sessions cancelled with less than 24 hours notice will be charged at 50% of the session fee. No refund will be provided.

No-Show Policy: If a student does not attend a scheduled tutoring session without prior notice, the full session fee will be charged with no refund.

3. Tutoring Package Refunds

For prepaid tutoring packages:

• Unused sessions may be refunded within 30 days of purchase at the per-session rate.
• After 30 days, package purchases are non-refundable but may be transferred to another student for tutoring services focused on learning and understanding.
• Any discount applied to the package will be recalculated based on sessions used.
• A processing fee of $25 may apply to refund requests.

4. Satisfaction Guarantee

We offer a satisfaction guarantee for first-time clients of our professional tutoring services. If you are not satisfied with your first personalized instruction session, you may request a full refund within 48 hours of the session. This guarantee applies once per client and does not extend to subsequent tutoring sessions.

5. Tutor Cancellations

If a tutor must cancel a session for any reason, clients will receive:

• Full refund or credit for the cancelled tutoring session
• Priority scheduling for a makeup session
• Advance notice whenever possible (minimum 12 hours)

6. Emergency Situations

We understand that emergencies happen. In cases of documented emergencies (illness, family emergency, etc.), we will work with clients on a case-by-case basis to provide refunds or reschedule tutoring sessions, regardless of notice period.

7. Refund Processing

Approved refunds will be processed as follows:

• Refunds will be issued to the original payment method
• Processing time: 5-10 business days from approval
• Clients will receive email confirmation once refund is processed

8. Non-Refundable Items

The following are non-refundable for our tutoring services:

• Administrative fees
• Materials or books purchased separately
• Completed tutoring sessions
• Special learning workshop fees

9. Dispute Resolution

10. Policy Changes

We reserve the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of our tutoring services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
